Looks like the Astros will be our interleague “natural/traditional” rival. Not exciting, but probably a lucky draw compared to the others in our division.

For those with Guys Night Out ticket packages, it looks like we will have only ten games in 2013 on Tuesday night. The Montforts are likely to take out the Yanks and Bosox out of our package for Tuesday night games, otherwise it’s 12 games that is the norm for GNO ticket holders.

There has to be an inter-league game every day, so some teams will have to play regardless if it’s April or Sept.

Wow i completely missed the 2013 interleague announcement I guess. Interleague play is fun to watch, but opening day to the end of the season? That’s ridiculous.

Not sure you caught it, but the Astros moved to the AL West so that all divisions now have 5 teams and thus (theoretically) an equal chance to make the playoffs. The NL Central used to have 6 and the AL West had 4. In order for the schedule to work and not have 1 team in each league sitting around doing nothing for 3 days they set the schedule so that there will always be at least 1 interleague… Read more »
