A FaceBook group that’s been around a while, but is getting some press lately, asks followers to post their favorite Rockies Meme’s. There are some pretty clever ones posted, with several from last season gracing the pages. While it seems like many fans are excited for the start of a new season, Rockies fans seem like there is really nothing to get excited about. Same ol’ same ol’ with nothing over the offseason to really show the New and Improved Front Office isn’t just pushing the status-quo button.
So, you might as well sit back and enjoy some pretty funny jokes at their expense. It’s better than crying into your remote, that’s for sure…

All that is exactly what happens when the planets aren’t anywhere near being in orderly fashion. I can’t wait until October to have the last laugh. Only cuz our five pitchers will be healthy the whole year and give us average 160 innings. Tulo and CarGo competing for MVP 2015. Tulo is done with the injuries and I doubt he will be hitting the DL for a lengthy time ever again except in cases of freak injuries. I disregarded that… Read more »
Wow, how’s that keg of purple kool-aid taste 😉 I’ve been the type of person that was very optimistic on the team in years past at this point and i’m for sure one foot in Room and one foot in Doom. Yes, changes were made in the front office, but we are honestly the laughing stock of the MLB. How is it so easy for others to see what we can’t – that little moves here and there aren’t going… Read more »
I can’t see my feet anymore so I’m not sure what room they’re in,but my butt is definitely in the doom room.
It’s early. Small sample size. But not much offense so far. Obviously, we need Tulo and CarGo to be healthy. It’s all about that, and pitching.
I had the opportunity to go down for the opening game of Spring Training and ran into Jeff Bridich as I was watching batting practice on one of the back fields before the game. I’m not sure how this will serve him as a MLB GM, but he seemed to me to be a very nice young man. I for one like his approach for this season, give the Tulo-Cargo combination the first half of the season and see if… Read more »
Matzek looked horrible. I can’t stand when a pitcher can’t throw strikes.
The PAT acronym is all the rage here at the moment with none other than our esteemed Ag trying to concoct a scenario that might see us win 83-84 games.
This post brings the reality of the Coors Meltdown Theory to the forefront. This is a far more likely scenario – and one of the key cogs I see in this scenario is a Matzek regression. Another key cog in the CMT is a JDLR injury.
How did Gray look? Even though we know that these are meaningless games, it still feels better to have a two game winning streak.
