Beginning of Trip Thru 2 First Place Teams

Christian Friedrich (0-1, 6.00), smarting from napping at the plate last week on a wild pitch, will get a chance to redeem himself tonight against Milwaukee’s Wily Peralta (8-5, 3.02).  From the minor league news; Trevor Story has been promoted to Tulsa from Modesto.  Justin Morneau and Tulo are switching their spots in the batting order.  Ryan Wheeler was chosen to play third base tonight.  Nolan Arenado has started swinging the bat from the tee and hopes to begin rehab within a week or so.  That is the best news today and perhaps better than the result of tonight’s game.
