Today Josh Rutledge was moved to the DL retroactive to Monday. RutRut is suffering a bad GutGut according to the team and Ryan Wheeler has been called up to replace him. The team also announced that Chacin will start Sunday’s final game against the Mets as he comes of the DL to make his first appearance of the season.
Tonight’s game against the Mets features De La Rosa on the bump. While nobody could have predicted Jorge’s implosion filled start of the season, he has been able to climb out of the doldrums and posted his best start yet last time he was given the ball, keeping the Dodgers to one run over seven innings. One only has to look to 2009’s De La Rosa to remember he can start slow, losing his first six that year, before he finished very strong winning his 16 out of 19 decisions.

What a fun team to watch.
True.I broke down and ordered ROOT after the roadtrip and have really enjoyed seeing the ROX after boycotting last season.
I should add that I’ve had my issues with DISH[who hasn’t] but the multi sports pack[at only $6.00 for six months] is a steal.I could switch between 13 MLB games tonight from coast to coast on various ROOT,FOX,and regional networks.Baseball heaven. Now I may be able to make semi intelligent contributions here–depending on my Vodka consumption.
