Frankie Mo and the Fish

The Rockies were on a little bit of a roll and for those of you still holding onto some sort of hope that this can be 2007 Part 2, but the two days of rest in the last 4 could have killed any sort of momentum they might have had.  The sad reality that the team is really done for the short term, if not the middle term and long term, was made glaringly apparent with the yo-yo DL stint for Cuddy, surgery for Fine China and the latest news that CarGo is not only done for the season, but Spring Training my be Gonzalez free as well.

Hey, at least we can watch Matt McBride go for back-to-back games with a grand slam…oh wait, he isn’t in the lineup…nevermind.

Three consecutive games of Giancarlo Stanton at Coors. If I’m walking around on the outfield concourse, I’d wear a helmet. Piazza’s HR distance record is in jeopardy.

Marlins OF – Stanton (24), Yelich (22?), Ozuna (23?). That’s a good looking, young group.
