Game 3 of Cards-Rockies Series

The third game of the series versus the Reds begins at 6:40 p.m. MT at Coors Field. St. Louis currently lead the Central division by a game over Pittsburgh and is 2.5 games ahead of Cincinnati. Tyler Chatwood will oppose ace Adam Wainwright. Both teams are using virtually the same lineups as they have during the series with a couple of exceptions. Jordan Pacheco is catching in place of Wilin Rosario who is nursing a minor leg injury and Josh Rutledge will play second base while D.J. LeMahieu slides over to third base. Nolan Arenado is icing his bruised thumb. Over on the St. Louis side, “The Slide” guy continues his Coors Field batting practice tonight. A sideshow features Money attempting to maintain his lead in the race for the batting title with ten games left going into tonight’s game.

The weather radar is showing possible scattered thunderstorms tonight. It is a bit windy as well. The game is televised on ROOT as usual. There is no chat tonight as the RWOers have not used it lately.

Chat hasn’t worked for me in a while, and the last 6 days I’ve been a flood refugee from the hills…Rox a bit in the distance…still checking in/watching when I can!

Interesting stat for the ToddFather there at that final at bat. Only 8 walk off hits in a 17 year career.
