I’ve decided that Coors Field should be designated as “Wrigley West”. Play most of the games during the day, drop the price of beer slightly and fans will show up just to enjoy the outing/experience. That the team isn’t very good/doesn’t contend won’t matter…nice setting, spectacular weather and we’ll average 38,000 fans. During the games, everyone has a smile on their faces.
“If you build it, they will come”.
ahhh I think that is already happening Steve
Guilty. I was there. Everything you said is true!
Dex today/tonite:
11 plate appearances, 7 hits, 1 HR, 1 3B, 5 runs, 3 RBI, 1 SB.
A one-man Astro killer!
And for the season:
.276/.373/.553
That’s an OPS of 926.
As you know, some here say Fowler doesn’t belong on any big league team,in any uniform.Though not a huge Dex supporter,I say that for one day-2 games,he was argueably the BEST player on the field!
