Lineup Against Padres

The Rockies and Padres will observe a moment of silence before their game tonight in honor of the victims of the Aurora shooting.  Reminiscent of the 1999 Columbine shootings, which saw the team cancel back-to-back games, the difficulty of the Rockies to play during the tragedies at home can only be imagined.

In team news, today the team swapped pitchers with the KC Royals: Guthrie for Jonathan Sanchez.  Both pitchers have been struggling mightily for their respective teams and hope that a fresh start will bring about a Francis like results who has pitched the best of the group since his return.

ROCKIES LINEUP

Fowler [CF]
Scutaro [2B]
Gonzalez [LF]
Cuddyer [1B]
Brown [RF]
Pacheco [3B]
Rosario [C]
Rutledge [SS]
Pomeranz [P]

I missed the pre-game. Did they cover the Rockies trying to move Giambi and Scutaro?

In-game diversion:
A team gets three triples and three singles in an inning without scoring. How is that possible?

This has to be the worst umpiring of any game this season-and all against the Rockies.Why.we don’t need any help in losing.2nd base ump must be smoking some good stuff between innings.
