Be really interesting to see what goes down. If A-Rod, Braun, Cervelli, Melky Cabrerra (those are the names I saw) failed tests then it’s an easy call. However if they did not fail tests then it’s that one guy’s word against the players. Unless they confess. Sort of like a she said, he said. MLB will try to suspend first time offenders for 100 games (usually 50) for A) using steroids and B) lying about it. But what is the… Read more »

Bill, your thoughts are similar to mine. As a baseball fan this bums me out. One thing…I’m sure the Player’s Association is all over this and with appeals, etc., this will drag out for the rest of the year (unless as you mention, there’s hard evidence).

Hope there’s no Rockies…and yep. EYJ is as clean as they come I’d bet. 🙂

The selfish me was hoping Garland was on the list so we can get rid of him faster than the brass.

Ok Mr. Garland you can pitch. You’re off my trash list for tonight. Don’t lose to AAA pitcher with 5+ ERA.

AMEN! I can’t stand that Braun weaseled out of the last time he was nailed and hope he gets slammed by this…I don’t believe for a second he is innocent and hate that he “beat” the charges the last time on a technicality…grrrrrr….

Since it would be a second offense even not guilty first time, he can go down for 100 games.

Really? But he wasn’t “convicted” of the first one and wasn’t suspended because of the successful appeal…how could they make it a second offense if there wasn’t a first? Don’t get me wrong, i hope it lands that way, just think it wouldn’t happen…

I hate how while the witch hunt is rightly going on an absolute freakazoid like Puig gets propped up. I don’t know how anyone can see him and not think he’s a juicer.

As a former History/Government teacher[in a distant century],I really detest all the guilt by innuendo and insinuation that these stories breed.Don’t you think Braun,as Bonds before him,has been tested till his dick is ready to fall off!?Innocent until PROVEN guilty is supposed to be the law of the land[unless Nancy Grace is involved],so I hope this won’t end up like MLB’s version of the McCarthy hearings. One guys accusations and scribbles on a notepad will not convince me with out further… Read more »
