Tyler Matzek issued a walk in the second inning which led to a 3-run homer by Rox Killer Miguel Montero. As their custom is these days, the offense did not show up on the road. The only run was a no-doubter by Fort McKenry. CarGo has been given a new nickname, “The Berlin Wall”. All he has done is act like a big deadweight splitting the middle of the lineup which explained why the offense could not get into any sort of a rhythm. D.J. RMH, that’s right there with the famous Frankie Morales wild pitch on a pitchout …
Very impressive, doing the post-game summary, before the game is over. Our Rockies, the outcome is seldom in doubt these days.
But RocketMan, look how they “battled back” in the 9th to “make it interesting” (Drew Goodman’s words). There’s fight in (a few of) these Rockies!
