Josh Outman’s start has been moved to Thursday, apparently due to the extra pitches he threw over the 75 count in his last outing. With Cabrera being called up today it is expected he will take the spot in the rotation on Wednesday.

Bob K. the Rockies’ website said that Putnam was called up on Monday. I assumed that he was called up to take White’s spot on the 25 man roster.
Julian you are correct and I am wrong. Not sure how to say this but I suspect that it may be someone other than Putnam that gets sent down because of how the timing may affect his options. I do know if they send someone down they do not want to call them back up within a 10 day period. Don’t how it works going the other way.
