The Colorado Rockies-Philadelphia Phillies’ Saturday night match-up was postponed due to rain after a 180 minute rain-delay. The game will be made-up as part of a day-night doubleheader starting Sunday morning at 11:05 MDT. The second game is scheduled to start at 4:35 MDT.
Saturday’s scheduled starter Tyler Chatwood will pitch one of the games for Colorado, left-hander Drew Pomeranz the other. Similarly, lefty Cole Hamels, scheduled to oppose Chatwood Saturday, will pitch one of Sunday’s games for Philadelphia, Tyler Cloyd, also a lefty, the other.
The storm that ruined Saturday’s festivities will move-on during the night. Sunday’s Philadelphia weather is predicted to be mostly sunny with a high temperature of 78°. The wind is supposed to blow-in from left-field at 5-10 MPH.
Both games will be on ROOT Sports (TV) and radio KOA 850 am.
