Private Suite at Coors Field June 10th

I saw a posting on the community bulletin board at work. The date is June 10th, 2012 (Sunday) at 1:10pm vs. the Angels. It will be a private suite (I assume club level) and it includes 12 tickets and 4 parking passes (Lot A) with option to add up to 8 more tickets. Catered food is not included but can be added if desired up to three days before the game. See website for examples of catered options: www.ps.aramark.com/coorsfield. The guy is hoping to charge $50 per ticket which works out to be $600 total. However, make me an offer if you think it is still too steep. If want to add up to 8 more tickets (max capacity of suite is 20), he will ask for $45 per ticket after the 12th ticket. Parking passes (four included in package) are normally $14 each. Each private suite features a temperature-controlled indoor lounge with luxury furnishings, outdoor balcony seating and indoor/outdoor flat screen tvs. Your event will receive a scoreboard message at the top of the 5th inning. (Rox Walk Off Fan Club?) Suites available 1 1/2 hour before game (11:30 am). If we do not wish to add the cost of catering to the suite, the suite tickets allow you access to the Club Level for upgraded concessions and full service bars. Mountain Ranch Bar & Grille located on suite level as well and open early before the game starts (just need to show your suite ticket for entry).

So what you guys think? Do we have at least 12 interested men & women? I’m in if we have it going. At least for the minimum part. Not sure if I want to go for catering as it might be too costly for most of us who are trying to live paycheck to paycheck. But if enough interest for the catering part, then we can go for it as well. Serious inquiries only (don’t want say yeah and cough up big bucks only not to be able to collect your shares). It would be much easier on me if I can collect the money before getting the suite. That is if it is still available – the flyer was posted on April 6th.

If we have more than 20 serious inquiries, then we could conduct a lottery.

I’d be in for 2 tix!!!!!!

Not down with the lottery idea. I think you need to do it first paid first serve as not to leave yourself stranded. If it works out we can always do it again in a bigger group to cover those that missed out.

That’s a Sunday game. I’ll think about it…

Do you know whether the Rox plan on scoring 17 runs on June 9th? If so then I’m definitely not interested.

Sorry about my sarcastic and negative reply. I wrote it during today’s game while the Rockies were being no-hit, and I was frustrated. Feel free to delete it entirely.
I’ll seriously consider a couple of tickets, as it would be fun to take in a game with you excellent guys and gals … even if it is on a Sunday, LOL.

Excellent idea, but unfortunately I’m out of town that week. But let us know if the same opportunity comes up later this summer.

RMH… I was involved in reserving a suite a couple of times. Suite rental is normally around $1600…how is it that we can get it for $600? Does he have the suite reserved and cannot make it to the game and is trying to recover some costs or what? I think we need more info before commiting…just my opinion. Do you have access to the number of the suite? It will allow you to find the location relative to the… Read more »

So I’ve got some yard work to do this weekend, and I see that I better get started soon with snow in the forecast for Sunday. That’ll help the Rockies succeed in their main goal: make sure that Drew Pomeranz’s innings all come in games that don’t count!
