Rockies catcher Ramon Hernandez has finally received the news he has been waiting for. He officially has a torn tendon in his left hamstring and will undergo season ending surgery next week. This means his season is over due to the time it would take to rehab after surgery and the fact that the Rockies season will end in 21 games, no more / no less.
Hernandez injured his hamstring against the Giants on Monday night. He was running out a double when he pulled up lame. He was hitting .217 with five home runs and 28 RBI’s.
