We got a preview of tonight’s episode of 30 Clubs in 30 Days yesterday during Intentional Talk. The IT boys interviewed Ramon Hernandez and took a clubhouse tour with Giambi. Tonight’s episode will be an hour-long breakdown of the club, and analysis from the MLB Network staff (plus Alanna?) on how they think the Rockies will do this season. While it is a safe bet that most of it will be, “pitching, pitching, pitching”, it should be a fun overview of the team with some great interviews.
The Episode will air at 9:00 PM MST and will also be available to stream on the MLB Network 30 Clubs website shortly after.
I wish I got MLB channel but I can’t afford any extra stuff (fixed income). Do you know where I can watch a replay for free?
I was flipping through the Comcast On Demand stuff this weekend and I noticed they are replaying the 30 Clubs in 30 Days series on it. Free, if you have that function with your cable package.
I’ll take a look at that, thanks Colorado Thistle
You automatically get the MLB Network Channel with DirecTV if you have the Choice Package (2nd cheapest) or above…not sure about Dish, Cable, etc. but it might come pretty cheap with them as well…it is a great way to follow baseball… If you don’t have it you can watch the replay from the link i gave you above in the article…just click the link tomorrow or Thursday and it should be available to stream…the A’s were highlighted yesterday and their… Read more »
They make it a little confusing with the naming of the two video options:
MLBtv = Video Package paid monthly/annually that can be streamed on computer/phone/set-top boxes, etc
MLB NETWORK = TV channel on Satellite / Cable that is available with most subscription packages
Thanks for the info. I have Comcast (not allowed anything else at the apartment I live in) and can’t afford the sports package (or anything else extra except the HD and DVR are must haves). I check out the link you provided. Thanks again for all you do on this site.
No Prob Wayne…so, you only have the entry level (digital economy)? If you got the one right above it (Digital Preferred) it would come with both MLB Network and Root Sports, so you would get all of the Rockies games and the MLB channel…i’m assuming you are in Colorado…don’t know the price difference on it, but on DirecTV it is $9 a month difference…I believe Comcast is about the same…still might be too much on a fixed income, just wanted… Read more »
Thanks Jaredean. I get all the Rox games in HD but I don’t have the sports package for NFL and MLB and NBA channels. I’ll give Comcast a call and see what the prices are. Thanks again.
Sometimes if you upgrade they’ll do something like free HD for 6 months or something. Maybe they’ll cut you a deal.
Then when it runs out call them back + see if they’ll extend it or cut you some other deal…
Wayne, if you get the Rockies games then you should get the MLB Network channel…it is just a channel that has MLB news, shows, etc…it isn’t the same as the MLB Extra Innings package that costs a ton of money…check channel #420 to see if you have it…again, i’m assuming you are in Colorado…it might be on a different channel in other markets…
I’m up in Greeley, CO and the MLB HD channel is 690 and the regular digital MLB channel is 420. I am authorized for neither of these. I did check out the Comcast On Demand as Colorado Thistle suggested and they are showing the 30 teams in 30 days for free. Thanks to all of you for all of your suggestions. I’ll let you all know if I find anything out. I have been threatening to cancel Comcast so I… Read more »
It seems strange that you get the Rockies games (on root) but not the MLB Network channel since they are both in the same package…maybe your apartment complex has a special version of the channel line-up? glad you got it on demand thought…it should also be live on that link above later today…
Jaredean. I checked with Comcast and I have the Digital Starter package. For $10 more per month I can get the Digital Preferred which has twice the channels (including sport package). I am going to wait until June when my lease is up to decide whether I am staying in this place or moving. At that time I will probably add the package if I am staying. Thanks for all your help.
Sounds like a sound plan!
