Rockies Looking To Leave With a Split

The Rockies will finish up in St. Louis tonight before heading off to the nations capital to take on the Nationals.

The most noticeable aspect of the lineup is the missing Todd Helton at first.  Word is that his hip is bothering him, but it could be more an issue with the bat that is keeping him off the field and Colvin in the lineup.  Cuddyer will take his place at the corner, batting cleanup.

Fowler [CF]
Scutaro [2B]
Gonzalez [LF]
Cuddyer [1B]
Colvin [RF]
Pacheco [3B]

Herrera [SS]

Does anyone else think that Friedrich pitched alot better than the final box score line will indicate tonight?

And while I am at it here – is it just me or shouldn’t the MFL (manager for life) Tracy have pulled Friedrich against Matt Holliday with the based loaded and bring in a righty to at least make it look like the Rockies want to win the dang ball game?
