Rockies Seek Series Win For 1st Time In Ages

The RWOers have been talking about the need to clean out the house and the local media has joined in as well.  Right on cue, today’s Denver Post had a real long article detailing the interview with Rockies’ owner Dick Montfort.  Mark Kiszla chimed in as well saying Mr. Montfort is “living in fear”.  Turning to the early game today, recent pick up Jair Jurrjens (0-1, 15.43) will oppose southpaw Eric Stults (3-11, 4.96).  The Rockies are seeking their second straight win and a series win today.  They are stacking the lineup with right handed batters in an attempt to knock Stults around today.  The only lefty hitter is the All Star OF Nazty.  Kyle Parker starts at first base in lieu of Final Ballot All Star candidate Justin Morneau.

CarGo is continuing his rehab and will either be activated for this weekend or the first game after the break.  Eddie Butler is beginning his rehab starts.  Looking further into the pipeline, 2014 first round pick (#8 overall) Kyle Freeland will make his pro debut tonight for Grand Junction.
