Rockies Seek Sunshine in Arizona

Colorado is in the desert to take on the Arizona D-backs where the weather is hot (99 F) and sunny. Fortunately the game will have a roof closed to keep them cool. The Rockies will be wise to build Noah’s Ark for their bullpen before coming back to Coors for the final home stand next week. The Rockies generally have played well enough to win most games on their current road trip, but the bullpen which is supposed to be our strength has been a no-show.

CarGo remains out of the lineup, but will be available to use his Gold Glove in LF for the late innings of the game. William is letting the Rox audition Corey Dickerson and Charlie Blackmon for 2014 while observing from the visitors’ dugout. Money and NoDo will provide the RWOers some enjoyment as they chase the National League batting title and 3B Gold Glove respectively. The game begins at 7:40 p.m. MT in Chase Field. After a one game vacation, ROOT returns to show a rerun of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

See Tulo’s doing his best lead off hitter impersonator. Another couple of no one on base hits…and people on base outs.
