While it is nice to read about a game in progress, and better to hear it on the radio – you can’t beat watching it live. Sadly, not everyone can get to Arizona to catch the games in person. For those stuck at home, or in a cubicle, there are a few games this season that will be televised in one form or another.
There are two options for watching the Rockies on days they are televised. The first is to sign up for the MLB.TV package. You can get this month to month, or a yearly subscription. It is especially nice for those who have smart phones or tablets, because you can watch the games on the days they have video, or listen to the game audio almost every day.
The other option is Root Sports (or MLB Network channel). This channel is usually offered to satellite or cable subscribers. The dates below are marked by what medium they are available:
|DAY||DATE / OPPONENT
|Friday||March 8 vs. Royals||7 p.m.||ROOT/MLB.TV|
|Saturday||March 9 vs Angels||7 p.m.||MLB.TV|
|Sunday||March 10 vs. Dodgers||2 p.m.||ROOT/MLB.TV|
|Sunday||March 17 vs Giants||4 p.m.||MLB.TV|
