That’s two days in a row that the Colorado Rockies have had a field day at the plate. The recent game Thursday afternoon had the Rockies punt the Dodgers out of the stadium 16-2. Justin Morneau got the offensive day started with five RBIs in a eight-run first inning. Colorado scored in every inning except the second and seventh inning. On the other side of the ball Jorge De La Rosa went six innings of shutout ball and earned his rest for the last three innings. Juan Nicasio and Rob Scahill finished the ball game. The key to the Rockies’ outburst was striking out just four times, three of them by scrubs that came into the game late.
As some of the RWO fans have pointed out, some of the best games this year have come during non-televised games. Shall we make it no TV for the whole year?
