Franklin Morales (3-1, 5.05 ERA) gets the baseball in an attempt to complete a season sweep of the Texas Rangers against Matt Harrison (0-0, 4.35 ERA). It was raining cats and dogs during the day, even flooding the dugouts and creating a lake in left field. But at press time, the rain has let up. It appears that the game will be played on time if not slightly delayed if the WeatherBug app hourly weather report is to be believed. NoDo goes for #28 in his attempt to catch Joe DiMaggio’s hitting streak.

Off topic: The Sky Sox pitched a 13 inning shutout today, with Christian Bergman giving up 2 hits in 8 innings, (his second shutout outing in a row). Wilton Lopez has had 6 straight outings without giving up a run. Kyle Parker had the game winning RBI. There aren’t a lot of real prospects in CS, but there may be a few guys who could help the Rockies if a need arises.
Thanks for the update – good stuff.
