Rox Attempt To Aid Bucs to WC Home Edge

The Rockies are headed to another disastrous performance at Coors Field for the 2015 year.  They are 33-44 entering today’s 1:10 pm game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The worst record at Coors is 35-46 accomplished in 2012.  It looks like they won’t beat the worst record as the Dodgers are coming to town for the final three home games.

Jon Gray and Jorge De La Rosa have been shut down for the year.  Tyler Chatwood and Jordan Lyles will travel together this winter at the Arizona & Dominican Instructional Leagues.

Today, Chad Bettis toes the rubber.  At the time of the writing, Pittsburgh already struck first for a 1-0 lead after the first inning.  Of course, a walk helped assure them of a run.

This four game sweep by the Pirates just might have sealed Walt’s fate. To me losing 5 straight in a row now at home is absolutely beyond understanding. The Rockies don’t have the pitching, but their hitting has been weak now too. There’s so much negativity around the Rockies, I quit watching the games.
