Rox Dwarfed by Giants, 3-0

The fans at AT & T park were treated to an enjoyable night nearly witnessing a perfect game by Madison Bumgarner.  He tossed a complete game shutout on just 103 pitches despite striking out 13 Rockies batters.  His perfect game was broken up by Justin Morneau’s double down the right field line.  It was fitting that the senior circuit’s leading hitter was the one who broke the perfect game & no-hitter by Bumgarner.  Buster Posey hit two home runs for all three runs in San Francisco’s 3-0 victory.

I’ve been busy with family stuff the past few weeks and haven’t had much time to watch, much less comment, on the home-team. However I watched some of last night’s game and saw Jenny Carver’s (?) piece asking Rockies players about hard it was to hit Baumgardner. Rockies were defeated even before they started the game.
