Rox @ Giants 4/14/2015

The Rockies are rolling with the best lineup once again.  They are playing at AT&T Park where runs are at a premium and they want the best defense on the field.  It is the second game of a 25-game span vs. the NL  West teams.

Christian Bergman takes the ball tonight in JDLR’s spot tonight.  JDLR is starting tonight for the Alburquerque Isotopes.  Will that be enough to get him ready to return to the big club?  Only time will tell.

In an interesting twist in the majors, Jhoulys Chacin was signed by Cleveland today and Shawn Marcum was DFA’ed to make room for Chacin.

Actually the Tigers were up 1-0 on the Pirates when Rob Scahill came in and he did give up an insurance run to make it 2-0 in favor of the Tigers. I was very happy to see the Rockies get rid of Scahill and only the fact that Morton is on the DL allowed him to make the Pirates’ 25 man roster.

I vote The Tarp. They cover the infield and it means the game is over.
