Rox Hope To Rubber Game a “W” Today

Today is the rubber game of a three-game series.  The Colorado Rockies and Minnesota Twins split the first two games.  In an effort to restore their rotation, Brett Anderson was activated from the 60-day disabled list and Kyle Parker was optioned back to Colorado Springs.  That was a 25-man roster move and Jordan Lyles was moved to the 60-day DL to make room for Anderson in a corresponding 40-man transaction.  In another minor transaction, Manuel Corpas asked for a release and was granted it.  The RWOers no longer have to worry about Corpas being called up to add gas to the bullpen bonfire.

ROCKIES ARE DOOMED for 2014!! Probably for the best… Changes need to be made.

The propaganda machine would have been cranking how the Rox are still in the hunt for the WC. Now I hope they can forget all that and start concentrating on seeing what they can get for some of their more useful… Read more »

What’s the use? The way these guys work we can probably expect to get a bucket of balls and a week old resin bag.
