You guys will hate me, but if Tulo gets hot, I’ll be beating the “trade Tulo drum” even louder.

Wow, who saw that coming? Bettis’ last 2 starts: 16.1 IP, 2 R, 8 H, 14K, 2 BB. And a 2-0 record. Dahl: scary, but I just read an si.com report that had him sending out a tweet where he sounds optimistic about a comeback. These kinds of on the field injuries are really rare — combination of an aggressive player and bad luck. I think your Dahl assessment is correct. Sort of like the scene from “The World According to Garp” when the plane hits the house and they decide to buy the house because it can’t possibly happen again.
Giancarlo Stanton was going to wear a face mask for the rest of his career after his incident late last season. I think he’s already discarded the face mask a few times this season.

SDCarp, I won’t hate you. The best thing would be for Tulo (and CarGo and Morneau once he gets healthy and Logan and Rosario) to get hot, and then to trade them all.
