Nice to see the fans are getting some good effort so far today. I was at the past 2 finales and was not impressed. Skipped it this year.

Today’s announced attendance was 30,288. That may have been the actual tickets sold, but I’m certain that there were no more than 20K at the stadium. I watched for a couple of innings and it appeared that the entire upper deck was empty. Total attendance for 2012 was 2.6 million. That’s 5 straight years of attendance in excess of 2.6. Not sure if you read my post regarding Rockies fans the other day Cisco but I respectfully disagree. The Rockies were getting a severe beat down and the fans were still having a great time. I do not believe the “jig is up”. Not for a second.
I absolutely believe they will draw 2 million+ again next season.
Like I said in that post, we on here and other Rockies sites are a minority.
I do recall your earlier comments on this matter, and I can’t really disagree with your points. But I can’t believe that the team won’t take a huge hit in the season ticket base come next season.

Poor Belisle…overworked and under appreciated…
Man i dig Bettancourt…
LOL. I was just going to post a comment that I’m okay with seeing Belisle get traded over the winter.
It may be overwork, but the guy is no longer trustable in late game situations like he used to be.
Betancourt on the other hand…..NAILS.
WE’RE ONLY THE THIRD WORST TEAM IN BASEBALL! NOT SECOND!! THIRD!!! WE JUST KICKED THE 2ND WORST TEAM’S COLLECTIVE BUTTS!!!!!
LMAO
and the fact that we swept the 2nd worst team in baseball may just be what the doctor ordered to keep from losing 100.
