The news on NoDo gets better after getting HBP on hand yesterday. He might even hit today. Rox sent a few guys to minor league camp yesterday as noted in the “Mumble Jumble” thread.

Has anyone read the story from the Houston Chronicle where Dexter Fowler shoots back at DOD? In the story, Dex reveals the dirty little secret that no one at 20th & Blake don’t want anyone to talk about. Dex asks the question: does anyone really know who the GM over there really is, Geivett or DOD?
Cisco, I saw that. Dex finally responds to the idiotic O’Dowd comment about how he lacks a “passion” for the game. Does a word association game ever associate passion with O’Dowd, the blandest baseball man around? With the somnambulant Geivett? With the owner who apparently can’t sit through his own team’s games without getting sloshed? Who exactly lacks “passion” here?
Holy Dictionaries Agman,”somnambulant”.I may have to start reading this blog while sober!!!!!!!!!!!

It was always understood that Chacin was only going to miss a couple of starts and be back my mid April. Slowly, as more… Read more »
