Sunday Snake Sweep?

For the final Rockies home game of 2014 they have opportunity to sweep the Arizona Diamondbacks, thanks to a win yesterday with Eddie Butler on the mound. Butler, the second ranked top prospect in the Rockies organization, picked up his first win of MY his short MLB career. He looked much better than he did with his first outing, and hopefully good enough to take the mound come 2015.

Our beloved purple dinasauers finish with a 45-36 home record. In my 87 win prediction way back in March I was thinking 55-26 at home and 32-49 on the road. It’s sort of interesting to look at Seattle and Oakland – both on pace to win about 87 games – home vs road splits. Seattle is better on the road (38-40 home, 45-32 away), Oakland is better at the Al Davis shrine (46-31 vs 38-39). But this shows how much… Read more »

Another interesting tidbit from around baseball – the Braves missed the playoffs this year and Frank Wren’s job is in jeopardy. Interesting concept.
