Ten Run Field returns for June

Here’s a useless stat. The Rox offense in terms of average is terrific on Monday, and good on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday. They have been bad on Wednesday, pitiful on Sunday, and worse on Thursday.

Mon .302 (leads MLB)
Tues .282
Wed .251
Thurs .240
Fri .281
Sat .273
Sun .248

Rox pitching can be said to be horrible any day of the week, but the odds are better on Saturday or Sunday and really bad on Friday. By WHIP:

Mon 1.49
Tues 1.44
Wed 1.52
Thurs 1.52
Fri 1.63 (worst in MLB)
Sat 1.35
Sun 1.24

No correlation to phase of moon, sorry, too much work.

We’ll see if the Rox power surge in June continues tonight, and if David Hale is up to the task to keep the Dbacks from responding in kind. Chase Anderson had that Coors Field baffled look after his disaster of a 5th inning last night. The Dbacks roll out more fresh meat tonight in Allen Webster, who got launched by the Angels in his last outing.

CarGo is still out (I had no idea fingers connected to the wrist, as one description of the sprain at the base of his left ring finger put it). Nolan Arenado is finally becoming the middle-of-order guy needed, and his presence will help Tulo. Ben Paulsen getting more reps will also help him.

Thanks DD.

Those WHIP numbers are interesting. Awful. 1.20 is solid. The Sunday 1.24 is respectable, but we never win on Sunday.

Can we be in a Division with Arizona, Philadelphia, and Milwaukee?
