well that was depressing…don’t worry RWO’ers…RMH, Ed and I will have our problems solved over a few cold ones this weekend….chase for the pennant begins after our brain storm session…Heck..I bet if we can just get Tulo healthy..and…

Thanks for the link Ed. While not totally agreeing with Neyer, I do think he hits on something key – the Rockies need to try a different model. Not just different from what they’ve done…..but it will also look different from most, if not all, other teams. Neyer hits on Colorado Springs….we’ve got to get the AAA team out of there. We have to draft best talent….not “need.” This will seem unconventional…..but I think we should emphasize offensive players. Too… Read more »

This syncs a little bit with my thought that you build offensively from within, and go outside for a significant portion of the pitching. I think he also has nailed our Catcher issue. He suggests Russell Martin…..I have been suggesting Kurt Suzuki for over a year.

But……..if you subscribe to the thought that a total rebuild isn’t necessary……then you might like his ideas.

why would the ROX not claim Jacob Turner off the waiver wire.He is their type of pickup.Why stay inactive? The CUBS who are putting together a young impressive pitching staff did not hesitate and grabbed him.Why continue to do nothing?
