When a normal person starts a new job there are usually quarterly reviews. Seeing as though we are a couple of games over a quarter of the season, and this site isn’t short of opinions, it might be fun to get a review on how you feel things are so far.
While most might be tempted to just put 1 star on all, there are a few players that really do stand out and have tried to bring their best each day and, for the most part, are succeeding at that. Sadly, there are VERY few players that fit that bill so far.
So, as the “couch manager” of the Rockies, here is your chance to cast your quarterly review!!!

Tough to rate these guys on what they have done like this. I’d like to see the vote be based on stars relative to expectations. For example, while Tulo is one of the higher numbers based on what he *has* done, he would be rated way lower if based on what is expected or needed from him.
That was my thought in creating it – rate based on your expectations coming into the season and how they have performed based on that…Tulo should be lower based on his expectations, talent, past performance, etc…
I think the votes are harsh on the catchers. Combined 10 HR and 30 RBI is pretty dang good 1/4th of the way through.
Prog, gotta agree. Rosario has been one of the few bright spots. And Hernandez has been solid. Rosario still strikes out too much and has trouble blocking balls in the dirt, but he’s convinced me that he’s our catcher for the next 5 years. In fact, signing Hernandez seems kind of unnecessary.
How do I give Tracy and Monfort negative ratings?
Well, Todd hasn’t had the year he and we were hoping for yet, but according to the Rockies site, with three more xtra base hits he’ll tie Mickey Mantle at 48th all time. That’s impressive.
When all the pieces have significant problems, it points to management and/or ownership. I hope that we don’t have attendance drift down to 4000/game to make the point.
you are so right!
